e-PayDay offers free Single Touch Payroll software to help small businesses meet their Fair Work wage theft and Payday Super compliance obligations.

Updated: Dec 28, 2025

Thousands of employers use e-PayDay Go to meet their Australian Taxation Office and Fair Work obligations.

In 2022, we proudly launched our progressive cloud payroll software, e-PayDay Go, providing real-time access to every Modern Award as specified by Fair Work. This exciting enhancement significantly enriches our already robust product, and we’re pleased that the benefits of this capability were recognised long ago.

Starting January 1, 2025, employers who intentionally underpay their employees may face criminal prosecution under the wage theft laws established in 2023.

Fair Work Voluntary Small Business Wage Compliance Code

e-PayDay Go® is designed to help employers meet the Fair Work Voluntary Small Business Wage Compliance Code. We have also exceeded the Fair Work requirements by identifying the Award and Classification on the Pay Slip. This simple addition provides reassurance for employees and allows them to verify that they receive accurate pay, as this information is the basis of the pay calculations. Pay slips also include a link to Fair Work, which provides relevant compliance information for employees.

The positive benefit for small business owners is that Fair Work will not pursue criminal charges if an honest mistake leads to an underpayment and they are otherwise in compliance with the Code. This fosters a supportive environment where a commitment to compliance is recognised, enabling businesses to thrive while ensuring that employees are treated fairly. We have also provided additional guidance to help them fulfil their employment obligations.

About Single Touch Payroll (STP)

We proudly pioneered Single Touch Payroll (STP) and remain dedicated to streamlining payroll processes. Our commitment is to empower small businesses by easing their regulatory burdens through innovative software automation and assisting them in meeting their ATO payroll governance obligations. e-PayDay has undergone independent auditing and is ISO 27001 certified. Our payroll products are whitelisted by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) for Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting.

Effortlessly fulfil your Payday Super contribution reporting and payment requirements with the best free alternative to the Australian Taxation Office SBSCH.

The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) Small Business Superannuation Clearing House (SBSCH) closed to new users on 1 October 2025, and as of 1 July 2026, it will no longer be available. Significantly, as part of the new Payday Super reforms commencing 1 July 2026, employers are required to pay their employees' superannuation guarantee on the same payday as their regular wages. The contribution needs to be received by the employee’s super fund within seven business days after payday.

e-PayDay partnered with SuperChoice for Payday Super and Single Touch Payroll (STP), Australia’s premier Clearing House service.
e-PayDay partnered with SuperChoice, the leading Clearing House service in Australia, to offer Superannuation Contribution reporting and payment without any additional fees.

To effectively meet this new requirement, we are excited to confirm our ongoing partnership with SuperChoice, a strategic collaboration that enhances our ability to streamline the validation, reporting and payment of Superannuation Contributions on payday. Many of our customers have come to appreciate the effortless integration of superannuation management that e-PayDay Go® already offers, ensuring that these critical financial obligations are handled seamlessly on payday.

This new functionality is now available to users at no additional cost, providing enhanced features and benefits as part of our commitment to providing the payroll tools you require to remain compliant.
